Jim Kaze is semi-retired and no longer taking new clients.
Jim was born in Buffalo, Wyoming, raised in eastern Montana and has called northcentral Montana home for many years. He has been a member of the law firm since 1974. Jim has been active in community and state public service and is a frequent speaker on topics ranging from corporate board governance to estate planning.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Montana State University and obtained his J.D. in law from the University of Montana School of Law. He was a member of the Montana Board of Regents of Higher Education, and served as chairperson from 1995 to 1998. Jim is a member of the State Bar of Montana and the Twelfth Judicial District.
Jim’s practice is exclusively devoted to representing Montana co-ops and public utilities.
